wordsworth's Preface to Lyrical Ballads

preface to Lyrical Ballad is written by Wordsworth, Published in 1789. The Impact of French Revolution inspired Wordsworth and also other poets. Workshop- GPSC

23rd September 2018, Sunday 12:00 pm onwards Atal auditorium, M.K.Bhavnagar University. We had attended one workshop on the topic "Civil service exam- The best career option through GPSC". From English department Total 28 students had attended the workshop. We had enjoyed a lot. We all went with our one of the great teacher Vaidehi ma'am. In the first introductory session, there were several speeches by the various speaker. The second session was the part of our workshop. In this we have four speakers.  1. Charansinh Gohil 2. Veera Bhai Sambhal 3. Vivek Tank 4. Pravinsinh They have shared their valuable experience with us and guided us about the preparation of GPSC/UPSC which will help us in giving our exams and I heartly thanks MKBU for arranging this valuable workshop.

Coleridge Biographia literaria

Biographia Literaria is the critical work by Coleridge it is contained in 24chapters. In 1796 cloderidge published his first poetry collection, "poem on various subjects", and from 1797 to 1798 he lived with # A fusion of autobiography # literary criticism # religious and philosophical theory # differences between poem and prose # differences between poetry and poem Q. 1 Write in your words the difference between poem and prose.   When we see the poem and prose,  both are  possibly same but presentation of both are not same. Cloderidge considers the elements of poem like # sound and meter # communication # pleasure # emotional affect as function together.  According to Coleridge " nothing can permanently please, which does not contain in itself the reason why it is so, and not otherwise". A poem contains the same elements as a prose composition. poems are made in metre or rhyme, but this is only for remembering it. Poem is different from prose
