He published his book "An Era of Darkness" in which he talked about what the British did in India. In all the interview he talked about the British. He is a good observer because he minutely observe the British and after that, he writes his book and freely gives his views about Britishers. He represents the reality of the British as well as Indians. We can not say that he favours India but there are some points in which he also talks about India.
An Era of Darkness: The British Empire in India :
First of all, he talks about the Economy. He said that in 1600 when the British East India Company was first established India's share of World GDP was 23% and Britain's was just 1.8% or by the time the British left it to wad down to below 4%. So that we can see the economic situation of the colonies was worsened by the experience of British colonialism. The worthy Britain Victorian families that made their money out of the slave economy. Colonialism and civilization is also an important point to discuss here. As we know that racism and violence were the reality of the colonial experience. In that, I like one line which is mentioned by him,
"Even God couldn't trust the English in the dark."
Then we can see the conditions of India in world war first and second. Every time Britain made all the profits because they believed that we are more Civilized then India. They have known about technology. So we can see the Indian GDP before British and After British.

Secondly, the Binary of Hindu and Muslim was created by the British. After that Hindu think about Muslim custom or festival and Muslim think about Hindu custom or festival. So Britain made systematic efforts to separate Hindus and Muslims and it was by force.
Then he also talks about The Bengali Renaissance. Abolition of sati and widow remarriage was not colonial legacies and It was not done by British but demand of reforms Indians like Raja Ram Mohan Roy. So it was an Indian idea. We can see this in one of the poems by Henry Derozio '
The Fakeer of Jungheera'.
The Fakeer of Jungheera'.
He also talked about the poverty of India. When the British left India that time ninety per cent of the population was living below the poverty line, What British did in India and other important points.
When we see the life of Black writers we find that their writing is not accepted by Americans or white people. They believed that Black people are their slaves and they can not write or won the prize. But when we read some writers works like when we read 'Bluest Eyes' by Toni Morrison we come to know about the several facts. So white people like to read Shakespeare rather than Toni Morrison. We can see that Black people represent the reality in their works so that we can see the concept that,
'Hatred for those who representing the reality.'

The Black Prince is a 2017 international historical drama film directed by Kavi Raz and featuring the acting debut of Satinder Sartaaj. It tells the story of Duleep Singh, the last Maharajah of the Sikh Empire and the Punjab area, and his relationship with Queen Victoria. When we see this movie, we have to think that who is in power? Who is in the centre? What is the background of the movie? The title of the movie is very interesting. We have to think that why the title of the movie is The Black Prince. Black means compare to white or Britishers we are Black people. The centre of the movie is justice, they want justice or freedom. So this is the story of Panjab. I found the following key points.
Liberty - subaltern theory - 'Can the subaltern speak'
Justice - equality
Dilemma - family or nation
Freedom - from white people
Destiny - Crave your own destiny
Dreams play a vital role
'Own people are our enemy'

We can see the life of king is not good. We all are believe that if you have good post then you you are lucky. In the movie the dominant class in India is Britain. Memories play a vital role in King's life. So we have no right to speak again them. They can rule on our nation but we can not.
