Youth Festival 2018 : Aishvaryam

we had Youth Festival in MKBU, Which was hosted by the Takshashila College. Time and again these kinds of academic functions must should be organized. Because it is the stage which helps in displaying the hidden talents. And most of the students take these opportunities as a career changing. In a way these all things influenced a lot in future. In this festival there are many events like,

One act play
Skit
Mono-acting
Poetry recitation
On the spot painting
Rangoli
Photography
Poster making
Group traditional song
Western group song
Installation
Bhajan so on.

So the task given by Dilip Barad sir to observe and watch this events and do critical work.

One act play :
As we know that according to Aristotelian play must have an acts so that people can understand or they can organize them with sequence. But now a days we find so many plays which has only one act plays and though we consider ad a play and it is call "One act play". "sikka ni trigi baju" this play was performed by the students of department of English. In the play there are many characters like Kiran, Rekha, Veena, Alpa , thusar, sambhu and sardha . among all characters, the character of Kiran was performed by me. This was my first stage drama. First I thought that no could not but when I started I felt may be I should try. But this was quite hard to me because of stage fear. But according to me when you start or decide something, try to give your best and accept the opportunity. So try my best.

In the play there is story of a person who belongs to LGBT cast. This story also shows that how people treat them, how people behave with them. In the play there are also characters who suffer a lot. In the play, Rekha and Veena who is mother, both are suffer a lot in the story. When her family knows about her child , she decides to live the house with her child kiran. She knows that her husband Tushar and her mother saradha never accept them. So we can see that play deal with our current issue. In this play I feel catharsis when Rekha come told her story. This whole story told by kiran who wrote the novel and also won the prize in the last. So for me this is heart touching story.

Rangoli competition :
Now a days most of the rangoli deals with traditional them. You can not find other them. But I found one different Rangoli as well attractive because in this rangoli ,the maker used traditional them with new Idea ,with technology.

 Mono acting competition :
As we all know that mono act give as the reflection of society. This mono act is like mirror of present society. It is start with happiness and end with tragic story of her daughte. We feel pity In this act.
